APPLICATION: Firestop sealant prevents the spread of fire, smoke, hot gasses, and water; for construction joints and through penetrations; can be used on metal, insulated pipe, fiberglass, plastic pipe, wall joint, power, telephone, and datacomm cables
EASY INSTALLATION: Water based, non-sag caulking grade heat resistant sealant that is easy to apply as well as retrofit; it cures to an elastomeric seal that is suitable where dynamic movement is expected; can be applied from a tube, sausage pack, or pail; applied with a conventional caulking gun, bulk loading gun, or can be troweled from the pail
SPECIFICATIONS: All systems rated for up to 4 hours as per ASTM E814 (UL1479) and ASTM E1966 (UL 2079) test standards; for temperature applications of 120 degrees fahrenheit; flexible barrier protection; interior use and paintable; excellent freeze-thaw caulk; VOC compliant
CONVENIENT: No special skills required to apply firestop sealant; the sealant does not have to be pre-mixed
