BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Lead-Free Bronze Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly is ideal for non-health hazard applications in continuous-pressure piping systems, at cross-connections and at service line entrances. It is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure.
COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This assembly is equipped with NPT connections, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs, top-mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, and captured springs.
DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: This assembly's body is constructed from a durable lead-free bronze, which ensures compliance with industry standards and that water remains free from other compounds. Inherently resistant to corrosion, lead-free bronze can be used in a wide range of applications and is more environmentally friendly than materials containing lead.
INLINE SERVICEABLE: Designed for easy maintenance, the assembly features a compact modular design, with top-entry access and a single access cover that facilitates in-line repairs. It also has replaceable check discs and seats.
