- We ONLY use PURE Aluminum – Double Sided Foil. We REFUSE to use the cheaper quality metalized plastic film product like many of our competitors - basically, a potato chip bag. These products will degrade over time in a hot attic. THIS is the difference between 97% reflectivity and 95% reflectivity and why we can offer a lifetime warranty.
- Perforated – AtticFoil has tiny holes to allow moisture to pass through. This reflective insulation is NOT a vapor barrier. (You don’t want a vapor barrier in your attic that can trap moisture, leading to air quality issues). All products have an internal tearproof tarp-like fabric.
- AtticFoil Multiple Sizes: Available in 48” and 26” - 48” is best to run horizontally (left/right) in standard open-frame attics, and 26” roll insulation is best to run vertically (up/down) in truss-style attics.
