About this item
- FAST AND EASY INSTALL: SharkBite Max 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. FNPT brass push drop-ear elbows quickly connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE to a male threaded pipe without solder, glue, or tools; ideal for installing shower arms or tub spouts in wet lines
- MOUNTABLE DESIGN: Includes integrated drop ears with mounting holes for secure installation to framing; fitting can be rotated after installation to adjust alignment as needed
- NO PEX TUBE LINER: No tube liner needed for PEX; SharkBite Max push fittings also eliminate flow restriction when used with copper or CPVC, maintaining consistent performance
- DURABLE: Reinforced stainless-steel collar locks in the cartridge for added strength and reduces insertion effort by 50 percent; disconnect tools available and sold separately
- RATED PERFORMANCE: Made from quality DZR brass and stainless steel, this 90-degree elbow withstands up to 200 degrees F and 400 PSI; approved for behind-the-wall and underground use with no access panel
