By adding a gauge, you can monitor the pressure after the filter, which helps indicate when a pressure drop occurs. This drop suggests the filter may be clogged with debris and needs replacement to maintain optimal performance.
Durable and Versatile Design: The 20" x 4.5" purple whole-house filter housing can handle a maximum pressure of 90 PSI, while the clear housing is recommended for pressures between 40–70 PSI. For higher pressures, the blue housing is a better for long-term solution due to its superior durability. Designed with a feed water pH range of 4.0–10 and a 1" NPTF input/output port, this filter housing is built for heavy-duty performance.
