BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Bronze Pressure Vacuum Breaker Backflow Preventer Assembly provides the ultimate mechanical protection of potable water against cross-connection contamination hazards. It is used to protect against health hazard and non-hazard back-siphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids and meets the specifications of the USC FCCCHR Manual.
LEAD-FREE BRASS CONSTRUCTION: Designed for minimum head loss, this bronze assembly is equipped with a plastic bonnet to protect from freeze damage, a spring-loaded check valve, air relief valve with opening port, two resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks, and NPT end connections. It has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar) and a temperature range of 32 degreesF to 140 degreesF (0 degrees C to 60 degrees C).
VERSATILE APPLICATION: Suitable for a wide range of applications, including water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants. It is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feeds, water lines, and other installations where maximum protection is essential.
INLINE SERVICEABLE: Designed for straightforward maintenance, the assembly features a compact modular design, with top-entry access and a single access cover that facilitates in-line repairs. It also has replaceable check discs and seats.
