Easy to assemble: The brass foot valve is generally installed at the bottom of the pump's underwater pipe. Simply wrap the male pipe threads with PTFE tape(not included) before installing the valve, do not over-tighten. And screw on valve and connect the pump. Suitable for well jet pumps or other equipment where not only filtration is required but where the media cannot flow backwards.

WARNING: Do not use this foot brass with drinking water systems. This foot valve filter allows the pump to remain filled with liquid, which can limit the return of liquid in the pump tube to the water source, and plays the function of only entering and not leaving.
