NPT 60° TAPERED THREADS: Our 1/2" male x 1/2" male NPT hex nipple strictly enforces the 60° NPT American Standard tapered pipe threads and is not interchangeable with threads such as SAE, JIC, etc. Sizes include 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1". Please note that NPT threads are not compatible with straight SAE/NPS threads and forced mixing may result in leakage or thread damage.
